World-famous Phillippe Starck was the interior designer for the hotel and made a contribution to the implementation of a completely new hotel concept. Impressive designer experience at affordable prices. Everything is done on the basis of this maxim. That is why the chef, Alain Senderens, became famous for giving up his three Michelin stars in 2005 because he was no longer able to offer meals at acceptable prices under the constraints set by the critics. It is now possible to enjoy a two-course lunch menu prepared by him for EUR 25 at Mama Shelter.
